Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Led by world-renowned pediatric gastroenterologist and researcher Jeffrey Hyams, MD, the Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) provides innovative care to children diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The Center is at the forefront of IBD research, uncovering clues about how our genes, the environment and other factors may play a role in the cause and treatment of the disease.
Pediatric Liver Disorders
The Center for Pediatric Liver Disease cares for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with a wide range of disorders affecting the liver, including acute and chronic liver failure, autoimmune disease, chronic hepatitis B and C, metabolic liver disease, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The Center provides pre- and post-transplant care and is comprised of a team of pediatric physicians, specialty nurses and registered dietitians.
Infusion Center
Our state-of-the-art Infusion Center, located in Farmington, is designed as a comfortable, family-centered space for children and teens to receive intravenous infusion therapy. Features include campsite-themed rooms with secret passageways, customizable lighting, and “cabins” for longer infusions.
